Excellence Beyond Measure

The Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra is making a difference in Tampa’s arts community and in the lives of our dedicated student-artists.

The Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra provides superior music training while guiding students toward a lifelong appreciation of classical music. The Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra endeavors to be recognized as a premier youth orchestra, to engage students with unique musical experiences, and to develop the patrons and performers of tomorrow.

The Tampa Metropolitan Youth Orchestra is committed to ensuring Tampa Bay’s most talented young musicians have every opportunity to participate in the orchestral program.  Thanks to a grant from Macy’s Inc. and other generous donors, TMYO has a financial assistance program which offers scholarships to help students with financial need offset tuition fees.
